| INDUSTRY LEADER
Established more than 50 years ago, Michigan Seat
Company remains the industry leader by being responsive
to our customers' needs, and unrelenting in our
pursuit of excellence in seamless, molded foam-in-place
seating.

Main Production Facility
MADE IN THE USA
Michigan Seat's vac-form production is handled
from concept to design finished product in our
220,000 square foot manufacturing facility. The
polyurethane foam, which is poured into each seat,
is custom blended in our facility to assure cost
and quality control. Our suspension seat division
is housed in a nearby 60,000 square foot facility.
Requests for modifications, as well as new prototypes,
are expertly handled by our designers and engineers
who are proficient in CAD-CAM. Michigan Seat has
an on-site Quality Control Lab equipped to test
seats for accelerated weathering, extreme temperatures,
salt spray, impact, vibration and more, in accordance
with ASTM, ISO, and SAE standards. With skilled
workers and state-of-the-art machines and robotics,
our assembly operation is efficient, yet extremely
flexible. A variety of seat designs can be molded,
filled and assembled along the same assembly line
on the same day. Every state of manufacturing
is completed in our plant. This translates into
faster production and delivery.
In a market where variety and custom looks are
increasingly in demand, this flexibility is vital
to the success of our clients as well as to the
continued success of Michigan Seat Company.

Suspension Seat Facility
PAST, PRESENT, FUTURE
Toward the end of World War II, Michigan Seat
Company (then called the Jackson Canvas Company)
entered the seat market when a large manufacturer
of lawn and garden tractors needed a seat cover.
Although the business did not produce complete
seats, we met the initial request with the best
solution at the time, a canvas slip-on cover.
But then, just as now, the challenge was enough
to bring about the pursuit of a better , more
imaginative response.
When the technology for "vacuum form foam-in-place
vinyl" evolved in the 1960's, Michigan Seat
was one of the first companies to create a successful
product with it - our seamless molded foam seat.
Michigan Seat Company continues to succeed as
a viable competitor in an ever-changing industry.
By meeting the demands of a new marketplace and
exceeding the desires of a satisfied customer
base, we have maintained the financial strength
to stay at the forefront of emerging needs. Our
worldwide industry success has given us an edge
in the logistics of manufacturing and exporting
to the highest standards.
Together, these companies continue to generate
innovative answers to emerging needs and an unwavering
commitment to the future.

Together as a team, we are committed to:
- Preventing pollution;
